The TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is Australia’s leading training qualification, suited to workplace training roles across many industries. In this qualification, you will learn essential skills in the design, delivery and assessment of vocational based training.   • Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or Australian equivalent.
  • You must be able to demonstrate vocational competency in your proposed teaching and assessing area. *Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience and may include holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
  • You must have computer with internet access and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint installed.
  • You must provide a valid ID with your picture and signature

Intensive Virtual Class

  • Intensive 2 weeks (5 days delivered per week) Livestream/Webinars classes plus 2 days Livestream/Webinars consultation
  • Resources are hosted on the student portal and can be accessed 24/7

Five-day classes plus one day consultation for two weeks. You will attend a total of ten days in class from Monday to Friday, and two days consultation on Saturday. The classes and consultations are over two weeks consecutively, covering from theory to practical components.

The majority of assessment activities will need to be fulfilled outside the two weeks intensive classes. The self-study hours may vary from learner to learner for approximately 16 hours per each unit of competency.

You can start your TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment training any time throughout the year. You will have 12 months to complete the course from your enrolment date through mixed mode online learning.

The TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is expected to take around 1201 hours of study, especially for the beginner cohort to complete. This is equal to approximately 23 hours study per week over 12 months, however you may work at your own pace and complete your course faster if you’d like!

Completing all the units of competency within this qualification will lead to the issuance of a TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, including a transcript of all completed units. Learners that successfully complete individual units of competency, but not the whole qualification, will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment detailing the completed units.
